Beaches

If you love the sun and sand, check out our beachfront vacation rentals or vacation rentals within walking distance of the beach for your ideal Amelia Island vacation! If you’re not in a beachfront location, there are several beach accesses along Fletcher Avenue/A1A. If you happen to get a late start and the accesses are full, head to one of the public beach areas listed below where there is more parking.

Main Beach Park

Great spot to visit, even if you aren’t planning on going to the beach! Salt Life & Sandbar Restaurants, putt-putt, and more! Great playground for kids. Public restrooms and outdoor showers. Large picnic areas and fields.

Seaside Park

This is at the corner of Sadler Road and Fletcher Ave/A1A. There is a public parking lot and driving on the beach. You’ll also find Sliders Restaurant here; includes a beach playground and large tiki bar.

Peters Point Beachfront Park

Largest parking lot and beach driving on the island. Located on the South End of the island near The Ritz Carlton.

Scott Road Public Beach Access

This is a great spot on the South End of the Island, near The Ritz Carlton. Parking lot and driving on the beach is allowed. You must have a county tag or permit to drive on the beach while visiting.

American Beach

Located on the South end of Amelia Island, American Beach is home to the largest dune system on the Atlantic Coast in Florida.
