Wow!  What a great time to be on Amelia Island!  4th of July is one of the biggest celebration of the year, with so many places to enjoy the fireworks – from the beach to the marina, you’ll be sure to catch a glimpse of them somewhere close to where you are staying.

Three professional fireworks displays are traditionally held on Amelia Island during the Fourth of July holiday weekend. Fernandina’s “Hometown Celebration” is happening in the city’s historic district downtown along the riverfront on Monday evening, July 4th, 2022. The other two professional fireworks displays can be seen by the public from the beachfront, presented by Amelia Island’s two largest oceanfront hotels — the Ritz-Carlton and Omni (see more details further below).  You don’t have to be at any particular beach to see a show…any beach should get the job done!  If you are on the north end of the island, you’ll be too far to see the Ritz and Omni fireworks.  However, so many locals do their own firework presentation – and many are very good – all up & down the beaches.
