Zooma Amelia Island – October
Zooma races are created for women by women. At Zooma, we believe every start line and every finish line is a triumph! On October 14-16, Zooma Amelia Island half marathon, 12K, Lighthouse Look 5k, and Seaside Challenge come to town.
Amelia Cruizers Car Club of Fernandina Beach Florida was founded in 1996 and welcomes all antique, classic, and special interest cars. Our Annual 8-Flags Car Show is held on Historic Centre Street in Fernandina Beach Florida. Our annual show is held on the third Saturday of October. Our 27th Annual 8-Flags Car Show will be held on 21 October 2023.
October 28, 2023. Join the excitement and experience the electric island atmosphere during the annual Florida-Georgia football weekend. This highly anticipated event brings together passionate fans from both sides and is one of the iconic rivalries that make college football great. Grab a seat in one of these restaurants/bars and cheer for your team there! Get into the spirit, literally, on a downtown cocktail tour (pictured above) or a twilight BYOB Amelia River Cruise. So much to cheer for!
Right Whale Festival – November
Celebrating the annual return of endangered North Atlantic right whales to our warm coastal waters. Join un November 5-6, for ocean-themed activities and exhibits that emphasize education and environmentally responsible adventures and products.
Petanque Amelia Island Open – November
The Petanque Amelia Island Open, November 10-12, 2023, is the largest Petanque event in America, drawing players from all over the globe to compete for the Petanque championship in the beautiful Fernandina Harbor.
Omni Turkey Trot 5K
This time chipped race will start and finish at Omni Amelia Island Resort Racquet Park, located next to the Verandah restaurant. Enjoy a scenic run, meandering through the beautiful, tree-canopied resort. Running or walking is acceptable. No animals and bicycles on course. The Annual Black Friday Pajama Party will once again take place in Historic Downtown Fernandina Beach on November 24th, the day after Thanksgiving. Join us for a great day of shopping, music, and fun planned from 8AM until 4PM. Downtown merchants will be open for early shopping in your pajamas. Many will be offering special discounts and treats to enjoy while you shop.

Holiday Home Tour – December
Brought to you by the Amelia Island Museum of History, the annual Holiday Home Tour will showcase a collection of beautiful and historic Victorian houses in Fernandina Beach decked out in their finest for the season. December 1-2, 2023.
Dickens on Centre – December
Join us December 7-10 for our traditional Dickens on Centre street festival! Enjoy costumed characters, themed entertainment, visits from Saint Nick, and a variety of vendors selling seasonal wares in a classic English village.
